Kat is an NYC native with a BFA in Drawing/Printmaking from SUNY Purchase. Her yoga journey began when her doctor recommended trying some classes to help alleviate her anxiety. Kat approaches yoga with practicality, curiosity, tenacity, critical thinking, and a healthy dose of humor. In her classes, you can expect a blend of Vinyasa, Katonah Yoga, functional mobility, and breath work. She believes that yoga's tools and techniques empower you physically, mentally, and emotionally to show up for yourself and move through the world with more awareness and joy.
I was surprised how quickly Kat pinpointed the core problems that I was having with my body and showed me great stretching positions and breathing exercises that I can do on a daily basis.
As a practitioner with seven years of experience and multiple injuries, Kat has offered unmatched attentiveness and knowledge. I can’t recommend her enough!
Kat explains yoga in a very in-depth and approachable way -- something that a beginner like me can really appreciate!
Kat is an incredibly intuitive, perceptive teacher. She is able to see things -- quirks, habits, crutches -- about your practice that you never knew were there.
I look forward to my sessions with Kat because I know that she is giving me very practical and valuable training for relieving everyday stress, both mentally and physically.
Kat offers an amazing private session experience. Her hands-on assists allow me to find a deeper pose while being supported and safe.
